Explore Atlanta Beltline Southwest Trail
Located only a few blocks from the West End MARTA Station, the Atlanta Beltline Southwest Trail is home to several new restaurants, breweries and plenty of patio space. Starting at Enota Park and ending at Adair Park 1 this trail runs 2.6 miles and connects to the Southside Trail at Metropolitan Parkway Southwest. It runs west through historic neighborhoods like Pittsburgh, Adair Park and West End before connecting to the Westside Trail.
1. Enota Park

Enota Park includes a playground, making it the perfect place to bring the kids. The Atlanta Beltline is working on a big upgrade for the park that will span eight acres with a variety of new amenities.

2. Zeno’s Backyard Bark Park
A walk along the Beltline with your pup is a great way to spend the day. Make it extra fun by letting Fido run off leash around Zeno’s Backyard Bark Park.
You can even rent out the dog park for a private birthday party for your pup.

3. Slutty Vegan

You can find Slutty Vegan restaurants all over the country, but this location in the Westview neighborhood was the first. Owner Pinky Cole’s goal was to create vegan food not just for vegans, but also for people who never would have considered trying this food.
From the staff who will have you laughing to the colorful design, Slutty Vegan is an entire experience. Try the Fussy Hussy or the One Night Stand, plant-based patties on Hawaiian buns. You can’t go wrong by pairing any choice with a side of Hooker fries.

4. The Ke’nekt Cooperative

The Ke’nekt Cooperative is a Black-owned space available for networking or forming friendships. The cooperative aids small business development and provides access to a community of innovators.

5. Gordon-White Park

This triangle of green space is a hot spot for performances and art shows. Located in the historic West End neighborhood, the Beltline path near Gordon-White Park offers an easy way to get around to additional parks and restaurants.

6. Boggs Social & Supply
From alternative bands to rock concerts, you never know who is going to show up to perform at Boggs Social & Supply. This live music venue also offers a variety of events like Karaoke Night W/ Music Mike and Socially Awkward Comedy.
Grab a drink from the bar and sit on the patio right off the Beltline. The best part? It’s pet-friendly.

7. Rose Circle Park

With a playground, basketball court and baseball field, Rose Circle Park is a great place to spend time with the whole family. The park is located right next to Lee + White food hall, meaning you can tire yourself out then go for a bite to eat with a variety of dining options to choose from.

Lee + White

Emerging as one of Atlanta’s most exciting mixed-use destinations, Lee + White holds a mix of cutting-edge breweries, restaurants, retailers and food manufacturers. This is the perfect place to seek community and explore the growth of Atlanta’s West End.

El Tesoro West End, Wild Heaven Beer

The Wren’s Nest

This historic home of author and journalist Joel Chandler Harris, The Wren’s Nest, is where “stories of the past create memories for the future.” Guests can explore this Victorian home through guided tours and learn about the Br’er Rabbit tales and other of Harris’ writings.

Hammonds House Museum

Hammonds House Museum explores the cultural diversity and legacy of artists of African descent. The museum is the former residence of the late Dr. Otis Thrash Hammonds, a prominent Atlanta physician and passionate arts patron.
